SUBMISSIONS
At Xistis Press, we believe that every author has a story to tell, and that every story deserves to be told. We work with our writers every step of the way on their literary journey, helping to bring out the most from their work. From an idea and rough draft, to editing and publication, Xistis Press helps our authors produce high quality, interesting, and entertaining books.
The Fine Print: When submitting a proposal, please remember that it may take up to 12 weeks (although it’s usually a shorter time period) for your material to be reviewed. We welcome submissions either electronically, as an attachment to an email, or mailed hard copy. Please note that we do not accept faxes or discs or URLs to manuscripts found elsewhere as submissions. Please note that unless you included a self-addressed envelope with sufficient postage we will not return hard copies of submitted material.
Please include in your submission:
Cover letter including author information and brief description of proposed work.
Proposal, including: an overview of the book; a complete table of contents; a market/audience analysis, including similar titles; an up-to-date listing of your own marketing and publicity experience and/or plans; your vita and/or qualifications to write the book; and two or three sample chapters.
If appropriate, sample illustrations or photographs if appropriate (duplicates, please, not originals).

In addition to reviewing your work, we will be happy to add your email address to our mailing list and send you information about our publishing program from time to time.
ARTISTS
Artists, please email five samples of your work, as PDF or jpg files, to be represented by Xistis Press as originals, archival inkjet reproduction prints - limited edition or non-exclusive. Please only send work aesthetically aligned with the artists shown in our virtual gallery. Email greetings@xistis.com with a brief note. We will request a CV or statement if the work fits.
WRITERS
Xistis Press will be publishing select pieces of non-fiction, poetry, fiction, and journalism going forward. To have your work considered, please email three samples to: greetings@xistis.com. Thank you for your sending serious material of subtlety and erudition.
